This is my finished, colored version of
 's 'Chained in His Iron Grip', [link] . Make sure to leave a comment on her lineart, too!The character is Pendula,  's villan from the comic Engelbaum! That's our planet earth he's got chained up -- and by the look on his face, I don't think he has sunshine and rainbows planned for us.This was a complete and utter blast to color! The chains were done by hand, and the earth and moon were done with the aid of a specialty filter plugin. Took me forever, but it was worth it! As it turns out, Lady-J- got the idea for this picture by watching Cirque-du-Soleil -- particularly the Chinese poles. Original Drawing and Inks © . We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
